A Dallas-area native, Tim spent the first 22 years of his career working at a Dallas glass company. Starting at age 17 as an installer, he quickly moved into sales, serving as sales manager for 10 years as the company grew from five employees to 150. After the business was purchased, he was named Executive Vice President of the company, which had over 250 employees and five different locations from Dallas to Austin.
In 2002 Tim left to start his own company near Cedar Creek Lake. He purchased Lake Glass & Mirror in Gun Barrel City and, one year later, Athens Glass & Blind in Athens. After incorporating as Glasshouse in 2004, he expanded to Dallas opening a showroom in the Design District in 2006.
